After being bombarded by countless Wimpy adverts on TV, we decided to walk into one and see what the fuss was all about. I mean, are they not wasting millions of dollars on TV ads.
Not much surprises in wimpy though. Always smart and same stuff on their menus, that I think may have been there for a few years, we remember some of the stuff from 1999 TV ads or so.
All the same, they have a decent breakfast menu but most of all, we loved their muffins!! I cannot say they’re the best in the world, Cafe Sofia gets that, but they are very good and pretty fresh. Their coffee & cappuccino is nothing to write home about, simply more water than needs to be.
The best time to get into wimpy is when your wallet is depleted; they have true value for money! For R20 you can have an English breakfast, nice!
